Hello everyone,
I have just applied to Bellevue College for Fall 2012/Winter 2013 and I just want to hear from anyone who has also applied there. What are your TEAS scores? Do you guys know when we will hear back regarding acceptance/ rejection letters? Is Bellevue College your first choice or are you guys spreading out your applications to other schools?
Downton, my TEAS was 92.7%. As far as the e-write, it's on the computer (like the TEAS and the Compass tests if you took those to get into Bellevue).
Charlotte66, as far as winter, no, that's not for waitlisted people. They take 36 in the fall and 36 in the winter (and a few for the part-time program, but at the info session I was at, they weren't sure yet if it was going to actually happen or not - I think the part-time program is also a whole separate thing - I think you have to apply specifically to that program). If you don't make the top 72 people, then you're put on a waitlist. If someone accepted for fall decides not to go, the first person on the winter list gets the offer to move to fall, and then the first person on the waitlist moves into the winter program. At least that's how I understood it.
Is anyone else heading down to the college tomorrow to do their ewrite? I'm thinking of it, just to get it over and done with. Not a fan of writing essays, but just finished up Eng 201, so hopefully that experience will help. I've only found one sample prompt anywhere online (about whether to extend school days or to have school throughout the summer). Has anyone found any other sample prompts? I'm not fond of having to rely on one single prompt - there are topics that I get that just tend to give me a serious case of writer's block! Yikes! Oh well, hopefully that won't be the case with this test!
