  1. Is anyone from the Eastside/Bellevue planning on taking the bus to Cherry Hill for orientation the week of February 23rd?
  2. Bummer, #1 for winter quarter. I was really hoping I would move up. I started at #3.
  3. Has anyone heard anything about the waitlist or moving from winter to fall? I looked at the message boards from 2010 and 2011 and people were notified by June 2nd. The suspense is killing me.
  4. You got your letter already?
  5. That's what the letter said. Today is the last day to take the e-write test. Hope everyone took it!
  6. Should have it by May 21st!
  7. Hi, Started my CNA at Divine in Northgate. Very happy with my choice. Thanks to whoever recommended it.
  8. Thank you very much hereshoping! That makes sense. Nurse tech sounds good!
  9. 88.7 only put me in the winter quarter. I don't know if that is the top or the bottom. I got an 85 or 86(don't remember) the first time I took it and the head of the CNA program told me that was not high enough to get in! I cried and then re-took it! I think alot of people will get contacted from the waitlist once payment is due. It seems like that is what happened last year. The 11th is the last day to take the e-write. So if anyone didn't take that then some spots will open up. Now my main question is... Why do I have to take the CNA course when I only want to become a nurse. It seems like a waste of my time and money. I will never work as a CNA because I have another degree to fall back on if I can't get a nursing job. Anyway, just nothing make sense to me. Thanks for listening!
  10. Someone here mentioned Divine a while ago. I called them and they were really nice. I am starting the weekend program in Northgate on May 5th. I live in Bellevue and looked into a few in Bellevue. They got awful reviews and 2 never answered emails I sent them. Maybe some of us will be in class together.
  11. Hi Margritamix, 10/12, You need a 7 or better. My advice is just read the short essay they provide you. Read it a few times, you have plenty of time to write. Pick the side that you can write about best. Choose about 4 points to back up your idea and expand on those ideas. Proofread several times for grammer and good sentence structure. I don't think you can really practice unless you want to use the sample as practice. That might be all you need to do. I had to get it over with or I was going to get an ulcer! Hope that helps. I am going to go hit the gym now.
  12. E-write done! Go get it over with. It is not difficult.
  13. No, I wish it did. I want to know how far away I am from getting in the fall session.
  14. jammin jewel, I know you are bummed now but I am sure you will get in. The past few years they have taken between 16-20 people from the wait list. You may have to wait a while to hear but I am sure it will be good news. For many people BC is not their first choice, people change their mind or don't have the money to pay. Hope this helps you feel un-bummed. For whoever asked, yes I have to take the e-write but I am not worried about it.
