Hello! I'm also taking 3425 and I am done with one assignment and still have the other one to do and the quiz!! It seems like a lot of work and I'm still a little nervous about the whole class...seems like you guys are feeling the same way. Hope we can all work together and good luck to you all!Rosi

Rosi, yes we are all probably nervous, but a least it is over quickly! Good to work together and collaborate so we do not keep missing the points on assignments.

I just submitted the second Obj assign. It took some time, b/c of all the calculations. I'm about to do the test now. I'm almost done with history 1311. I'm in my 6th week and I have an A so far. It wasn't too bad. Just keep up with the assignments and discussions and am now doing a group project.
I'm still not sure how I feel about this 3425 class as yet. I still feel like I'm teaching my self...lol. Will take promotion, and history 2 early next year. I'll only need algebra, med terminology and the 2 gov's next year.

I'm working on the assignments right now and having just as much anxiety as you ladies are. I just feel like I'm leaving something out, probably just anxiety though. Do any of you know what we use as a COLDSPA if our patient has no complaints? In the book it states to use your patients worst experience with pain, but that doesn't seem like it should be under past medical history. Any advice is appreciated.
commonsense,
I just used a headache, which they actually had at that time. Guess we will find out what we're missing by tuesday. The subjective assignment seemed repetitive at first with the history and lifestyle in 2 of the 3 sections. I realized one addressed nutrition aspect and the other general health status. Just lots of info, thank goodness my patient is extremely healthy!

You're right Amy it does seem pretty repetitive. The toughest part is that the example follows a completely different format, a pregnant woman. I guess your right though, just hold your breath and hope for the best until Tuesday.
Amy,
Did you do a complete 24 hour dietary intake as well?
Yes, I put it under the 3rd part (nutrition) under lifestyle.

Thank you Jadiva, whatever I can help you with I'll be glad to. I feel like I'm going to do really bad on the assignments, especially the obj one because I don't feel like I did a lot of detail What about you?
Thank you Amy! I'm glad I was able to find classmates to interact with. It's been very hard for me to take these classes, especially to be able to motivate myself to do the work!!
Don't feel bad Rosi, you're not the only one who feels like she should have included more. I've been working on the Week 2 Assignment and each portion is taking up a full page, now I feel like I'm going overboard.

Don't forget to do that because you WILL lose points if it's not there (it only took me two weeks of losing points to figure that one out). It doesn't have to be too detailed: you don't need to include portion sizes and exact amounts.
I did include one Meriwhen, thanks for the advice. Any other little tidbits of information you feel might come in handy?
