@ louroque like Katy said I would keep that score I think it's good. That is unless u didn't take the A&P section because Im not sure if it was required then.

I took the hesi feb 2011 applying for fall 2011...so yeah..i did take a&p...i made an 84...and 98 on Math..

Oh ok. I think u have a good score to get in so I wouldn't take it over unless I knew I could get a better grade. But that's just my opinion.

Hi! just wanted to see if anybody knew the cut-off for the Hesi score? I am trying to apply at Lonestar for the RN program.

I believe the minimum passing score for the hesi is 75.

hey y'all,

i need some help. i just looked at the testing dates for HESI A2. My first question is does the score for the HESI come out right after you"ve completed the Test? and second, if i take the HESI test on the 29th of August do you think thats too late? i just read the website and it says i have to turn in the hardcopy of the transcript two weeks before the application date. So technically, i have to turn it in by 1st of september so i think if the grade comes out right after the test i would be able to turn in my hardcopy before sep 1st... What do you guys think? The one before that date is the aug 20th and its full and before that is the aug 17th and im not ready to take it that early. Please let me know what you guys think. Thanks

I think you receive hesi scores as you complete each section of the test. I have taking it befre at another school and that is how it was. They may mean actually transcripts from other colleges. That is how understood it. I think the hesi scores are available for them right away. If anyone knows for sure please correct me. I am taking mine on the 29th and I do not believe they would have any schedule tests that would not meet the deadline, hopefully. :-) good luck

It stated on the website that you have to take hesi at least one week before the app deadline so I think you will be fine. Good luck!!

Hi everyone,

I have a question. I took the hesi in May and was wanting to apply this application period, but when I log on it has my old hesi scores. I'm not sure why it has not updated and was wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

@Skysthalimit, what did you think of the Hesi? Did you take it at Lonestar? Give us a heads up and let us know what to expect, please. Do we get actual paper to use as scratch paper, or do they give you those yucky dry erase boards to use? Do they give you pocket size calculators, or do you just use the on-screen one that is built into the Hesi exam?

Any and all info you can give us would be greatly appreciated :)
