Good idea, hopefully it works!! BTW did you ever hear back from ***************about the insurances and if we definitely needed to purchase summer insurance!? I emailed her Friday and still haven't heard back!

Ok, so I re-read the email and we choose the bolded red banner because we are doing this for SU13, and then do it for Fall and Spring, or those two terms might be combined. At any rate, at this time I am trying to find out what they want us to fill in for the Campus/School ID# because it's not listed. It's either the FASFA code, or their insurance policy number. Let me know if this helps.

She emailed me back and said we need the insurance for clinicals only so we only need the fall insurance because we wont even start until a few week after August. So I'm going to hold off because if i don't have to spend $250 for the summer insurance that's a plus! Also I emailed and asked about an official due date that we need to have everything uploaded to the certified profile. The date on mine says 4/28 which is wrong and a girlfriend of mine that got into Tomball says October. So it would be nice to have some clarification just so no one misses any deadlines by accident!! I'm really hoping June 28 isn't the last day because I still have my last Hep B shot on July 6th! Has anyone else asked or maybe knows of an official date??

Our date for NH is July 18th. My 3rd Hep B vaccination is not until July 25th :nailbiting: , i have emailed some people at NH about it but no one has gotten back to me. I went and had a titer drawn with the hopes of being positive for immunity but NOPE! So that July 18th deadline is too early for me. I sure wish someone would get back to me. I don't see why it would be a problem considering we wont be in clinical yet but i want a for sure answer. Other than that, everything is complete for me on certified background. Although, the HIPAA form is still not available and we got an email a few days ago they are working on it.

The lady at MoCo just told me the latest day you can have everything turned in is before you start your summer class. My class is July 31st, so hopefully i will be ok!?

Thanks so much Jess for clarifying, and I am sorry that I misunderstood what you were asking. I haven't had health insurance for like 4 years now, I may go ahead and get it for summer just to have it. I appreciate you clarifying this.

I'm confused Kevann, are you going through the whole Hep B series again? Were you told not get the Hep B booster? That's crazy, I got my Hep B series in (ahem) 1995 when I went to go volunteer at Hermann Hospital at their Shock Trauma ICU, and my titer has to this day shows immunity. I am sorry that you're having to go through all of this.

No, i had to go through the whole process again. When i turned in my app to lonestar for the nursing program, i couldn't find my shot records so i just went and got the first shot again to submit with my application. Got my 2nd a month later (my insurance covers it) and when i got my titer done on Friday..i was negative My third shot will be July 25th. Actually the nurse that did my first and second shot said she had her rounds done twice and her titers come back negative...kinda weird/scary! Still havent heard from anyone about the deadline...came back negative for my MMR and i know ive had that one before also....hmm...mind boggling to be honest. Oh well, going friday to get that one done and pick up my varicella titer results.

I'm in the same boat as you girl!! I just got my titers drawn for my MMR and Varicella yesterday praying they come back positive! Good luck with yours!!
