I didn't see a thread on here for Fall 2011 applicants to the Lonestar nursing program, so I decided to start one.:) I will be applying to Montgomery as my first choice and am really nervous about taking the HESI test with all of the added components. I applied to Kingwood this past application period with an 11.5652 and got an alternate spot, competition was fierce. So, here I go again, hopefully I'll get in this time around. I'm really nervous about the A&P portion of the HESI. I feel like I've forgotten alot of what I learned. Any suggestions from anyone?

OMG I am so scared! My HESI appointment is Saturday Jan 15 and I am feeling this horrible stress and fear!!!

Songbird1- wow, that must be tough competition because your overall score is great. I too am applying to montgomery sometime this month. I am really nervous about the a&p portion of the hesi but am going to take it soon. Best of luck!!

Hi..I'm laurie, and I will be applying to north harris this spring. I have the same concerns regarding the a&p portion of the hesi. Has anyone purchased a study guide?

I did purchase the study guide and everything in the math section seems to be helpful....the anatomy section is too vague though. It gives more of an outline..."know the cell and its structure..." so I might need a seperate study guide for that section? Good luck!

How does someone sign up for the lonestar hesi test?? What are the steps??

I am currently a student at Lonestar Kingwood.

Hi SC,

Go to the Nursing webpage, you'll see the Hesi test in the requirements, click and it will guide you to select a time and date, you will receive a confirmation email a day or two after.

Does anyone know if Montgomery campus requires you to schedule an appointment to take the hesi?

Hi, I am Gillian and am a current student of lone star college montgomery but i'll be applying with all the campuses this jan. I haven't taken the hesi yet cos am scared of the a&p sections..goodluck to everyone.
