The Dallas/Fort Worth area had a record-breaking 11+ inches of snow yesterday.

I've probably seen about 10 or more rudimentary-looking snowmen on the front yards in my neighborhood. The stuff is amazing to look at, but it wreaks havoc when you have to drive in it. I was driving on Loop 820 today and people were actually playing in the snow with sleds on the side of the freeway.

Oh, my goodness.....what is happening in TX. I hate the snow and TX is suppose to be my future home!!!!LOL

Don't worry. This is an unusual winter in TX, as it virtually never gets this bad.

I'm loving it. But then, I live in the Adirondack Mountains and we expect this stuff. I have snow shoes, studded snow tires, and 4WD. And every dinky little town has plows and salters.

I am over it. In the 20 something years I lived in Louisiana it snowed once. Since we moved here 9 years ago, we have had snow maybe twice per year. This is the 4th so far this year. Over it.

Although I must admit the view out my back door was breathtaking this morning. We live on almost 6 acres, the back is heavily wooded with a creek. It looked like a post card of somewhere far, far north of here! So pretty, but I am still over it! :)

the snow was initially nice then it became a nuisance.... my car was buried had to dig it out.....got hit in the head with the biggest avalanche ever when i was trying to get the snow off the roof.... we got something like 12.5 inches officially at dfw..that is crisis for this area....some of my co-workers were unable to leave their homes....i love the snow but must say i am glad to see it melt......

Seriously...4 big storms in eastern PA..and I was scheduled for all 4 so far...This is a new job for me and I already am getting that 'vibe" from the office staff as though I am a person who calls off 3 times a month chronically. ***! Im doing home care...alot of times the moms are competetent to take care of their kid over the weekend...and plus if their is 2 inches at the start of my shift and 12 by 8pm when it is time to go home I KNOW the family isnt going to appreciate me sleeping over.

LOL I have had ENOUGH already ok???

Imagine us here in Canada live with that snow for like 8 months of the year! That is why I am trying to get the heck out of here to Texas or Florida!!!
