...And where does the Management book come in to play?

I don't understand why the psych test isn't first with us having psych clinicals first, and having to read all of the psych stuff before clinicals start!

There are many chapters in the management book that one is supposed to read. I think the book is very interesting but I have never had time to read everything. You'll need to post messages online and do tests online. Don't worry about it now.

For psych clinicals focus on therapeutic communication techniques. It's going to be fun.

OMG - they just transferred me to Northlake without them even asking me! I'm so upset!

That's strange! (But you'll love it!!!!!!)

No, I won't - I ride the train downtown because I'm in Allen. Northlake will be a miserable horrible drive that I DO NOT want to make. Is the lecture on line at least? I got A. Paul for clinical & Reding for lecture - I'd love for anyone to PM info on them and how they are.

    Thanks,

    Yang

No need to PM...she is wonderful for clinical...very nice lady. I enjoyed having clinical with her.

I believe the lecture will be online again, with only a 2 hour, optional, review class.

The only time you'd really have to go to NLC is for exams, and the pysch orientation from Ms. Gray. (We had ours after one of our exams, so we were there anyway.)

But how bad is this gonna stink? You have clinical from 2:45 pm - 11:15 pm Monday & Tuesday and then have a test at NLC at 9:00 am on Wednesday? When are you supposed to study, or sleep? That is just the most ridiculous schedule I've heard! It's like they want to set people up to fail. They just aggravate me so badly! I'm glad she's nice, but grrrrr!

I had similar schedule and my clinical instructor let us reschedule our clinicals so we ended up not having clinicals before lecture tests. Also, you got St. Paul, right? They have wonderful nurses. Funny is right, you hardly ever have to go to NLC this semester. :Santa1: (I live around Addison/west Plano and loved going to NLC. It's a pretty and relaxing campus.)

    With free parking! :chuckle

I had the same schedule last semester. It's doable, and I live about an hour away from NLC and St. Paul with traffic.

MOST of our 4th semester clinicals are TW with a Thursday lecture day.

    I got switched, too.

Which is funny since NLC was my first choice, but when I got ECC, I moved into a place to live near ECC instead of moving near NLC.

    Oh great!

Well, at least y'all don't have to go in every week.
