st. francis memphis - jewish?

U.S.A. Tennessee

hi everybody. i know that st. francis and its professional buildings have valet parking. a good friend of mine runs a valet parking business here in memphis and was telling me that the valet guys aren't allowed to accept tips (they're paid hourly) since it's a jewish hospital. i don't understand that but that's subject matter for another thread.

but if st. francis and/or tenet healthcare systems is jewish, why carry a catholic name? there is even a statue of st. francis (or mary? i'm not sure since i'm not catholic) in front of the hospital on park ave.

Huh?

St. Francis ANYWHERE is not a Jewish hospital. No way, no how. And I've never heard that parking valets at a Jewish-owned establishment can't accept gratuities.

its not a jewish hospital, we jews dont have saints.

there is no connection between valets/tipping/jewish hospitals. you must have misunderstood something.
