Anybody else applying for the Spring '15 semester? I have taken all of my pre-reqs...cumulative GPA 3.23...A's and B's in science pre-reqs so I'm sure I meet the science gpa requirement. And yesterday I finally took the TEAS V for the 2nd time (smh) and made the required scores. So, I'm hoping I get accepted. I'm going to review my nursing application one more time before I submit it...and then the WAITING begins. *sighs* I'm so ready to get that acceptance letter to show my hard work paid off.

OMG. I'm dying from anxiety. I was hoping we will know by now.

I reluctantly called again on Thursday and she said we would be notified in November. I thought it was just her way of stopping me from calling, I just knew I'd have something in the mail by today :( I also asked if the wait was because they are accepting more students and she said no. I'm curious to know why it's taking so long, it has never been after October 16 in the past threads.

Still haven't heard anything and online status is not updated. Smh. I will definitely let everyone know when I get my decision.

@AGCMMOMMA - I had a false sense of hope that maybe they would notify us on the weekend. But at the rate they are moving I doubt it lol.

@ 2proudmom - I'm curious too. They have always notified people @ least by the 2nd week after the deadline. I really hope we don't have to wait until November. That is too long. I'm starting to think they are lurking this forum and they are torturing us on purpose LOL. Or maybe this semester they had an unusually high number of applicants. I wish I would have known you were calling again I've been wondering if the cut off gpa is still 3.1.

I haven't applied anywhere else with hopes that I would get in to Memphis, and if some reason I dont, I would still have time to meet Baptist's cut-off and apply there. At this rate, I might just go ahead and apply, just in case. I am wondering if it is maybe the large amount of applicants?

Right. I think I may go ahead and apply to Baptist as well. I was really banking on U of M though. I was thinking that maybe more people applied or maybe they are short staffed so it's taking longer than usual. This is the longest wait I've seen. They would do this the semester I apply smh. It's only 10 days left this month now. So we should hear something soon.

Good luck to all of you! I was in your position in February. It took three weeks after the deadline for my letter to arrive. The wait was terrible! But stop stressing...you will have plenty of time for that when you all start in January! :-)

Hey everyone !!! I too am applying for Spring 2015 at The University of Memphis' Loewenberg School of Nursing. I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't received any notice yet.. the wait is agonizing! I thought I would get a letter last week, but atleast by yesterday or today! I don't know what's taking so long:/ Today is the 3 week post-deadline mark, and I have also read threads from previous years and it never took this long for BSN notification.

@T_Michelle thanks for relieving some anxiety...this is the 3rd week so hopefully we will hear something soon. Did you keep up with your online status or just waited on the postal mail? How is your first semester going so far?!

@ashleymac1994 good luck to you too! I thought we would have heard something by today too. Not sure what's going on. I keep checking everyday I think I'm not going to check online again until Thursday/Friday.

The semester is going great! It is a lot of work but I love it! The online status will update AFTER you receive your acceptance letter. Hopefully you all will hear something soon.

What kind of GPA and TEAS score did you have to get in the nursing program? (if you don't mind sharing)

I have a 3.56 overall and I have around a 3.3 GPA on the sciences my score on the TEAS was a 70. I am also a male. Just want to know if I'd make a good applicant.

Omg!! So, I've been checking all of this time for no reason. LOL.
