  1. You don't get to choose your classes. They are assigned to you randomly. All of you will take all of your lecture classes together. The only variation will be with your lab classes. For example, you will all have Pathophysiology and Foundations lectures together. But your Foundations Skills Lab and Health Assessment Lab will be on different days because those are smaller groups (about 10-12 students). You can look the classes up now for Spring semester to get an idea of what your schedule will look like. But get ready guys. I hear that the curriculum is changing and Pharmacology will now be included in the first semester of the traditional BSN program.
  2. @nurse2bjourney_We have about 150 students in our class this semester. That number includes new students and some that may have had to repeat a class.
  3. @jea2015_You sound like a great applicant! Good luck to you! I had a cumulative GPA of 3.4 and my TEAS was 83. Once you meet all of the requirements for admittance, they then rank and accept the applicants based on the cumulative GPA. Sorry you all haven't heard anything yet. Keep in mind that we were also out for Fall Break last Monday and Tuesday. That may be playing a part in the delay. Good luck everyone!!!
  4. The semester is going great! It is a lot of work but I love it! The online status will update AFTER you receive your acceptance letter. Hopefully you all will hear something soon.
  5. Good luck to all of you! I was in your position in February. It took three weeks after the deadline for my letter to arrive. The wait was terrible! But stop stressing...you will have plenty of time for that when you all start in January! :-) Good luck again!!
  6. I am not familiar with this university's policy. However, at the university that I applied to the math grade would be calculated towards the cumulative (overall) GPA. Only the grades earned in the prerequisite science courses are used to determine the science GPA. The science grades are also used to calculate the cumulative GPA.
  7. The letter says to wait until after the pre-orientation to update everything. I haven't moved around at all, but the state still has no copy of any of my immunizations. Looks like I'm going to have to start all over with them. I'm NOT looking forward to that!
  8. It finally came today! I've been ACCEPTED!!!
  9. I didn't get one either! But at least we know they sent them out!
  10. Congratulations!!!! I'm so excited for you!!
  11. Thanks for the link! I've requested to join and I'm waiting for one of the admins to add me to the group.
  12. Early Congrats to you! I hope I'll be joining you this Fall! Did they happen to mention what the GPA cutoff was for this semester? I've reviewed other threads and 3.1 appears to be the cutoff.
  13. That's great to hear because I'm super anxious! I'll try to not check my mailbox more than once a day!
  14. It's officially the last day for applications and now the waiting truly begins! Hopefully we'll here something within the next 2-3 weeks. Good luck to everyone that applied!
