Spring '15 Hopefuls University of Memphis/Loewenberg SON

Anybody else applying for the Spring '15 semester? I have taken all of my pre-reqs...cumulative GPA 3.23...A's and B's in science pre-reqs so I'm sure I meet the science gpa requirement. And yesterday I finally took the TEAS V for the 2nd time (smh) and made the required scores. So, I'm hoping I get accepted. I'm going to review my nursing application one more time before I submit it...and then the WAITING begins. *sighs* I'm so ready to get that acceptance letter to show my hard work paid off.

Nope, I'm so anxious! Just want to know something!

Well it looks like we really aren't going to hear anything until Nov *sighs* ...I really thought somebody would have heard something by now. I will check my mail when it runs around 1p but I'm not getting my hopes up.

@jea2015_You sound like a great applicant! Good luck to you! I had a cumulative GPA of 3.4 and my TEAS was 83. Once you meet all of the requirements for admittance, they then rank and accept the applicants based on the cumulative GPA.

Sorry you all haven't heard anything yet. Keep in mind that we were also out for Fall Break last Monday and Tuesday. That may be playing a part in the delay. Good luck everyone!!!

Oh ok. That probably did delay them. Do you happen to know how many applicants they accept for BSN?

@nurse2bjourney_We have about 150 students in our class this semester. That number includes new students and some that may have had to repeat a class.

I called today just to ask a basic question and they gave me to the msn lady because the bsn lady was out. Who knows what the hold up is...I have given up hope anyway because after looking at my transferred gpa it was not what I thought it would be. It is still above required but deff not competitive. Oh well either way some type of notification will still be a relief so I wish they would come on with it!! haha

I really don't understand how in previous years students were notified in mid-October and it's almost November for us! Guess I'm being impatient but I really would love to know something!
