Well I have been looking online for schools that offer a crna program but I don't trust the internet. I live in the los Angeles area . What I would like to know is what school would be worth my time and money? Also how to approach this career.

There are no completely online CRNA programs- go to AANA.com and look for accredite.d program

National University is located in Fresno, not LA.

The schools in California are USC, Kaiser/CSUF (based in Pasadena), Loma Linda, National University (Fresno), and Samuel Merritt (Oakland). You can go to the specific school websites for more detailed information on each program.

aana website has a lot of info about the profession. Watchful Care by Bankert is a great book about the profession and where it came from. The aana website also has a list of every school in the country, so you can see what there is and go to the schools websites to glean info regarding their program. there is another website that has a lot of crna's on there...but it is taboo here to state it for some reason. I am sure you can find it if you google.

good luck and ask away if we can answer something specifically
