Accepted Students GRE Scores

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hello, I know this topic has been done before, but when I was searching around it seems all of the threads are at least a couple of years old.

I was wondering if any current CRNA students & people who have been accepted to CRNA schools recently would post their GRE scores?

Thanks in advance

309. 155 verbal, 154 quantitative, 4.0 writing.

Specializes in Anesthesia.

I'm studying for the GRE right now. I have coworkers who have gotten in with way

The school that's my #1 choice wants a 297 and they are stand-fast with that specific number. I was told that a higher score can help offset a lower GPA. For my #2 choice I was told that it's more of a formality just to have taken the GRE, and not much emphasis is placed on the score. They're more interested in one's interview and experience.

I scored a 320: 165 math, 155 verbal, and 4.0 writing. I got into the only school I applied to (I had about 8 more on my list with later application deadlines and would have applied there if I hadn't gotten in).

Can everyone include their study aid for the test?

I just used the Princeton Review and Magoosh vocabulary app (free). I got a 155 verbal, 158 quant, 4.0 writing. Haven't been accepted yet, but I'm told these are good scores. Over 300 total is generally a good score to aim for.

I used Manhattan GRE and Magoosh. I was overly concerned about math because I hadn't seen any of it since college, where I read 2-3 books a week (reading my last one now since I start school in a week!). Apparently I should have put more work into verbal, but my verbal score was acceptable.

Current SRNA. 157 / 157 (314 total) and 5.0 writing. Kaplan prep book

Specializes in Critical Care, CPICU, RAT, Current SRNA.

155 verbal. 149 quantitative. 3.5 writing. I used Barron's, but only for a math review. I literally spent no time reviewing verbal or writing. Accepted at TCU.

I just took mine October 2015, and I got a total score of 307, all I used was Princeton Review. I was accepted at Duke

Specializes in ICU, Critical Care.

Took it once and studied for 4 months. 157 Quant, 154 Verbal, 4.5 Writing. 311 Composite. Used Magoosh the whole time. Accepted at TWU and starting in August.

Thanks to all who have responded so far. Does anyone know if schools look down on multiple, like 2 or 3 attempts? Does that look bad or does it not matter as long as your score has improved?
