I would like to hear the pros and cons of taking MSN program on-site vs On-line.

Please share your experiences in either or both.

Do you feel well prepared in your MSN field taking courses online vs onsite? Is there is a huge difference and would you recommend your choice method to take your MSN program

Please inform me!

I'm in an online program.

The pros? I have a rotating schedule meaning I would have to beg people to switch every week if I was onsite. I can schedule my clinical days around the current days I have.

As for skills, they do have skill sessions on campus. 2 of them. So I have opted to find a company and go to their skill sessions. Since the company was started by a NP that has history teaching skills to NPs and residents, it is extremely helpful. The sutures was taught by an RN first assistant.

It's out of my own pocket.

Online NP programs are dangerous. They provide substandard education. How do you even know if the students are listening to the lectures?

Because Rockmay, they have to pass the tests that probably aren't proctored :p

However do they manage to pass their certification boards?
