Is anyone applying? I applied to the FNP program. I know it will be a long wait, so I thought I would see if anyone will be waiting with me! lol

Class 136 has their Frontier Bound in the beginning of March 2015.

Specializes in Geriatrics/family medicine.

I am in the process

Specializes in Critical Care & Public Health.

I was on the wait list for class 131. I had the option to try and move my application to another class so I chose class 136. We will see what happens.

I have decided to go with Simmons or South, if it doesn't work out with either it will be Frontier or UC, or I will see where I can start at a convient time, also depends where I get in. I have gotten in at South so let's see, all the best to you all

Specializes in Emergency, Perianesthesia.

I applied to Frontier and being reviewed for FNP class 136. I emailed the admissions assistant today to find out if decisions will be made before or after Christmas. She's out until tomorrow. I know that 134 got their acceptance emails on Dec 5th.

kEEP ME POSTED! I have actually just decided I may take a higher paying job. I don't know what to do...I can either add more debt or make more money...Ahh..decisions.

Specializes in mom/baby, EFM, student CNM, cardiac/tele.

Good luck guys :) I was accepted to 134 and I can relate to the anxiety ridden wait you are all experiencing! If it helps, frontier estimates responses to go out 6-8 weeks before bound, but our class started getting acceptance emails a little before 9 weeks!

The last time I talked to the admissions rep at Frontier she told me that they would not make an early decision on class acceptance because the class closed sooner than expected. It would be awesome to know before Christmas if we get in or not! I'd love to know either way!

Maranda_b - That's a tough one! A bigger factor for me would be which position has greater long-term earning potential, and (of course) the happiness factor. Good luck!

you are so right. The more I have thought about it, the more that I feel like I would rather be a NP

Have you heard anything?

I don't expect to know anything until around February on class 136. It would be awesome if it were sooner though.
