Anyone else applying to UAB NP program for Summer 2015?

I recently submitted my application to UAB FNP program starting May 2015. Just wondering if anyone else has applied as well?? If so, from which state do you live? I am from NE Florida. I hope to meet/network with other prospective students for this program. Though I'm excited it's an online program, I think I will miss the peer to peer banter! Fingers crossed on acceptance!

I see where you are taking classes as a non-degree student @ UAB. I too am a graduate from UAB...I've taken Patho as a non-degree student in '04. I am waiting on acceptance to take non-degree classes again(I plan on taking Patho again, since it's been 10 yrs). I see where you've taken 606 and plan to take Pharm as well. When I filled out the application, I didn't see where 606 or Pharm was available(604 & 612-Patho were available). Did you have to get permission from the Department Chair to take these courses? Also, I see where you've been accepted into the program...congrats! Since you've already taken some classes, when is your expected graduation date?

I took three classes previously as a non degree seeking student under the old curriculum. Once accepted I had to request to have those credits applied. I did get it approved and it took off 3 courses as part of the program. Unfortunately, it did not affect my graduation date and I originally had a semester off and one semester where I only had one class. Now I am currently taking three DNP classes along with my MSN program so those gaps were filled.
