I have a foreign bachelor degree and a USC master degree in the major other than nursing.

Im currently debating whether to apply ADN or BSN programs. My long term goal is to get a master degree in nursing.

Will the graduate school consider the applicant with an ADN and a master degree (in the major other than nursing )? Or do I have to get a BSN first in order to apply for master program?

any advice please...

You absolutely need a BSN to be admitted to any masters in nursing program. Even if you have 20 degrees in other subjects.

Actually, you can be admitted to an NP program with just an associates degree in nursing. There are plenty of RN to NP programs around. No BSN required.

Um that's not true.

It's only "sort of" true. Yes, there are programs that will get you from the ADN to the masters degree, but its because they are longer and teach you the BSN part along the way. You may never be awarded a BSN, but the program will include the material and therefore be longer and cost more. There is no way to skip ahead - you still have to do the work one way or anything.
