starting tomorrow i'll only be in the health room four days a week due to increased demands of nursing school. thanks god my boss is understanding and thus she's providing a sub nurse to cover the health room on my abstences.

i wonder how my kiddos are going to take this. they are so used to seeing me everyday and i wonder how they will respond to her.

it'll be nice to have that break but i must admit i just may miss my little kiddos. :heartbeat

well we'll see how it goes. every little bit will help. i'm only doing this because the content is getting harder and i can't study at work and i don't go to work to expect to get much studying done.

Good luck nursing student-did you say this is your last LPN semester? Hope it goes well. Your kids will be fine. I know how you feel, though. We get a sense of ownership, they become "our" kids, don't they.

Yes, I'm in my last semester of LPN School and its getting more and more demanding. I know the sub nurse, and I know she'll take care of them.

Good luck on your last semester. I know how you feel, had to take off due to sickness a week ago. It seems strange turning "our" children over to a sub nurse. It will be noticed, many of my kids asked where I was and told me that they missed me. That made me feel better knowing that someone cared. I think you will find you might beappreciated just a little more.
