NEIT has 4 start dates throughout the year, it was worth it for me because I got to start only 2 months after applying.

I'll be starting the program in October 2013...can anyone comment on what the first quarter schedule was like? I just need to plan ahead and orientation and registration is basically a week or two before classes start which is not good timing lol

Meeting with an admissions counselor this week, are you all happy there? I know tuition is high, any financial assistance? Don't want to take $50,000 out in student loans.

Congrats everyone on starting at NEIT!! I graduated from that program in March, and I can tell you I have gotten great feed-back from my colleagues about the education that I received! This program really sets you up for success if you work it, it can get INTENSE but so is nursing so it's a good lead in. Good luck!!
Did you have any trouble finding a job? That is my concern if I go here.

I actually love it. I've heard mixed reviews from other students but you can only get what you take out of it. They offer "optional" classes that will help in the long run (and they're not extra money) but people opt out of taking them and don't do well then blame the school (in my own opinion of course). As far as the price...it's very high but I learned a lot from talking to other students and I learned that joining a club or two and volunteering can get you tons of scholarships. I wish you the best of luck no matter what you choose...nursing school is quite the experience!
