  1. First of all, You are very rude, I'd just like to throw that our there. I did, in fact, read your opinion on the PVT. That is why I chose to post my experience, it has been over 24 hours and I have tried the trick multiple times since I left the testing facility until now. If you think we're all dumb for using this trick, that's fine, I don't really care - you don't need to attack every person who posts in this thread that they used the PVT. It had worked for all of my classmates so I was willing to try it. Like I said, I will post again when I get my quick results.
  2. Took my NCLEX this morning in CT. I tried the trick (PVT) within minutes and it would not let me re-register! I put in my actual credit card information and they did not try to take the money from my account. Hope this is helpful to people who are nervous about the money being taken from their account. I figured if I failed I'd be paying the $200 again anyway, so it didn't matter. I will update when I get my quick results!
  3. I will be applying to the SNHU online RN-BSN program for the Jan. 2015 start date once the program is accredited. I'm also applying to Quinnipiac University for their online RN-BSN program. I take my NCLEX in 22 days!
  4. If you get into URI, RIC, or CCRI go there, avoid NEIT at all costs! I go to NEIT and I am completely miserable, the school is a joke!
  5. curlybee, I'm currently a quarter 5 NEIT nursing student. If you're looking into any other schools I highly suggest sticking with those schools and avoiding NEIT. The tuition price is through the roof, the entire program is $56000. The price of tuition would not be so bad if you were getting what you pay for, but that is not the case. The sim lab is very nice but there isn't enough staff, so don't expect to use it that often. Clinical placements are a joke, when you are there you are treated like a CNA. The school basically says to just do what they say to do because "we need them more than they need us"! They are increasing class/clinical sizes so they get more money, but there is not enough staff for the number of students. I don't have an issue with the nursing lecture instructors; healthcare communications, nutrition and pharmacology are a waste of time and money! I consistently get high b's and a's in school but I don't feel as though I am prepared for the field at all! Like I said, unless NEIT is your absolute last resort I would avoid it...
  6. NEIT has 4 start dates throughout the year, it was worth it for me because I got to start only 2 months after applying.
  7. Thank you! I'm looking forward to starting, and I'm glad to hear you were welcomed into the nursing community!
  8. They may be graduating, but a degree doesn't always equal a career. If they have a bachelor's degree in, say, art...well, did they really accomplish anything? I'm 23 and will be starting the nursing program in January. I switched majors a few times and took different classes to make sure I was 100% sure before I settled into a field, I became a CNA and I can confidently say I want to be a RN and that I will be able to find a job once I finish school. It may have taken me a few years longer, but I know in the long run I will be better off! Don't compare yourself to others, circumstances are different for everyone.
  9. I haven't even looked at the letter, does it say we need it done by then? I'll have to try and get in to see my doctor...hopefully I can get t in time.
  10. hey, tgnc29! I also heard from my admissions officer, Jeff, yesterday saying they were sending out acceptance letters and orientation info. He said we should expect to be there about an hour on the 16th. can't wait to meet you all then :)
  11. Shannon, look forward to meeting you!
  12. oh, lucky! lol...I live in ct, but right over the border. It takes me about 30 minutes to get there.
  13. I'm getting anxious to find out the dates/times of classes and what we need to buy! The quarter is going to come up so fast and I don't want to scrambling to get things finished. Do you live close to the school?
  14. if that is the case that would be awesome because in the second quarter I will only have one class and clinical, so I would love to get something else out of the way!
