Pearson Vue trick 2014 -still works!
First of all, You are very rude, I'd just like to throw that our there. I did, in fact, read your opinion on the PVT. That is why I chose to post my experience, it has been over 24 hours and I have tried the trick multiple times since I left the testing facility until now. If you think we're all dumb for using this trick, that's fine, I don't really care - you don't need to attack every person who posts in this thread that they used the PVT. It had worked for all of my classmates so I was willing to try it. Like I said, I will post again when I get my quick results.

Pearson Vue trick 2014 -still works!
Took my NCLEX this morning in CT. I tried the trick (PVT) within minutes and it would not let me re-register! I put in my actual credit card information and they did not try to take the money from my account. Hope this is helpful to people who are nervous about the money being taken from their account. I figured if I failed I'd be paying the $200 again anyway, so it didn't matter. I will update when I get my quick results!

NEIT Nursing
curlybee, I'm currently a quarter 5 NEIT nursing student. If you're looking into any other schools I highly suggest sticking with those schools and avoiding NEIT. The tuition price is through the roof, the entire program is $56000. The price of tuition would not be so bad if you were getting what you pay for, but that is not the case. The sim lab is very nice but there isn't enough staff, so don't expect to use it that often. Clinical placements are a joke, when you are there you are treated like a CNA. The school basically says to just do what they say to do because "we need them more than they need us"! They are increasing class/clinical sizes so they get more money, but there is not enough staff for the number of students. I don't have an issue with the nursing lecture instructors; healthcare communications, nutrition and pharmacology are a waste of time and money! I consistently get high b's and a's in school but I don't feel as though I am prepared for the field at all! Like I said, unless NEIT is your absolute last resort I would avoid it...

How old were you when starting prereqs and did it discourage you?
They may be graduating, but a degree doesn't always equal a career. If they have a bachelor's degree in, say, art...well, did they really accomplish anything? I'm 23 and will be starting the nursing program in January. I switched majors a few times and took different classes to make sure I was 100% sure before I settled into a field, I became a CNA and I can confidently say I want to be a RN and that I will be able to find a job once I finish school. It may have taken me a few years longer, but I know in the long run I will be better off! Don't compare yourself to others, circumstances are different for everyone.

Starting Nursing School in January...NEIT.
Who did you have as an admissions advisor? I had Jeff, he called to tell me I had my spot, he also said I would have a meeting in December with an academic advisor to find out my schedule. I juat emailed asking about a nursing acceptance letter in the mail. I had some classes transfer, A&P 1 and 2 and Microbiology transferred and those were the three classes I really didn't want to take again, plus math and the computer class. I don't think it is possible to shorten the program. He told me that I just won't take those classes when everyone else is, so I'll have a lighter load during those quarters.

New student looking for others :)
Snozbery26, I'm looking into NEIT, I called and they told me there were still open spots for January. What was your opinion of the school? What tests do you have to take to get admitted, and what scores do you need? Any other advice would be great! I'm going to the school next week to talk to an admissions officer, but trying to get information on my own...Thanks!

New England Institute of Technology - Associate in Science Degree in Nursing
I'm currently a pre-nursing student in CT, but I'm looking into the Associate in Science Degree in Nursing at NEIT. Does anyone have any input? I am at the point now that I do not care how much the program is, I just want to start nursing school! I am looking for information on the admission process at NEIT. What tests do you have to take to be admitted? What scores do you need to get a seat in the program? How much do they cost? Any other information would be extremely helpful!

Kaplan Nursing Entrance Exam
Any specific study guides for the Kaplan Pre-Nursing Enterance Exam? Can't find any, but my school uses the Kaplan and I want to study specifically for this exam...not all Nursing Enterance Exam in general! Thanks (:
