HEY! Congrats on being accepted! I did everything, they told me yesterday I was accepted, then called an hour later and made a mistake and said I wasn't I am on a wait list. Totally bummed. But if you don't mind me asking, what was your overall score on the NET ? I am just curious what the scores were of some of the people who were admitted. Congratulations!!

My score on the kaplan nursing exam was a 77 and thank you i am very excited.

Hmm, I will look into that. I am going to take the Kaplan again for October for NEIT, so hopefully that will work out!

Wow, I cannot believe how expensive this program is! I am a senior nursing student at RIC and will pay far less for my entire BSN. RIC does not have a waiting list, but is highly competitive --so if you have good grades I would encourage applying to RIC or URI's program. I can't imagine paying that kind of money for a two year degree!

[FONT=CG Times]Compared to a state-supported institutions, such as CCRI, RIC and URI, tuitions at independent institutions such as New England Tech, which receive no funding from the State of Rhode Island, are always going to be higher. Fortunately, New England Tech has the lowest tuition of any independent college in RI. As a matter of fact, its tuition is lower than what students who are not residents of Rhode Island pay at the University of Rhode Island.

Hey, I am looking into this school and I am wondering, to those who have been accepted, what was your GPA at the time of being accepted? Also, did they take your transfer credits?

GPA doesnt matter. You pay a fee of $175 to take an accuplacer test and if you pass that then you take the kaplan nurisng exam. They accept the top 25 scores on the kaplan. And yes they do take some of transfer courses depending on the course and how old it is.
