New nursing program
I know it's the truth, but the truth hurts! They seem kind of deceitful about it too, and I have a paranoid feeling they are monitoring all the posts about the school on here. The other school to which I was accepted has an excellent rep. but is just soo long. Thanks.

New nursing program
How much of a risk is there in starting at a new nursing school which is not yet accredited by NLN, but is in the process of pursuing such accreditation? I'd really appreciate the insight. I got into two schools and really like this new one. The other is much longer in length due to summers off, etc. but is fully accredited. Thanks!

nursing career
I am entering nursing school next semester and know that in the Army, male nurses are very highly respected. As an EMT, I also know that at least EMT's respect male nurses a lot. We encounter them frequently in the ER.

Army Reserve Nurse Corps Officer Requirements
I am considering a couple different schools in my area right now and would like to become an Army Reserve or ARNG nurse when I finish and become a RN. From what I see on the official websites, a B.S.N, associate's degree in nursing or 3-year diploma are required. One of the schools here offers a 2-year diploma in nursing, with courses continuing over the summer. Would this qualify or is a 3-year diploma needed? All the schools are accredited. Thankyou for any help!

2nd Degree BSN at RIC
Hello, I have a B.A. in the liberal arts, am currently taking nursing prerequisites @ CCRI, and would appreciate some insight... Has anyone here been through the 2nd degree BSN program at RIC? The website lists the curriculum (once prereq's are completed) as 2 years. I have many friends who went to RIC for other majors and had a very difficult time getting the courses they needed to graduate on time. What did you think of the program, and how intense is it? Is the school organized in getting students their clinicals? I am also considering getting an associate's, which would take 1-2 years after I finish my prerequisites, depending on if I stay in RI or move for school. Thankyou!!!

Fastest BA/RN to BSN program?
Hello, I am working on an ASN right now and already have a BA (and masters) in theology & history. Does anyone know how long it would take to do an RN-to-BSN program for someone who already has a BA? I do not want to do an online degree like University of Phoenix, etc. Are there any programs specifically for BA,RN-to-BSN? Thanks!!!
