Hey everyone. Is anyone applying to any nursing schools that are full-time DAY programs only? I'm a current CNA, but I'm going to be starting the dental hygiene program (hopefully Fall '09) and they only offer a full-time program, M-F during the day. I NEED to work while I'm in school and am starting to wonder how I'm going to make enough money when I'll probably only have enough time to work the weekends. I just don't want to go back to waitressing!

If you go to school full time during the day (or are planning on starting a fulltime day nursing program), what is your job and your hours, or what are you planning on doing for work once you're in the program? Thanks!

Well, I'm starting an accelerated BSN program on May 12th, and I figure since it's full time during the day plus accelerated, I'm going to quit my job about a week before it starts. If I feel that I can handle working after the summer semester...then I'll go get a job at a local hospital. Right now I work at a daycare as an assistant Kindergarten teacher. I love the kids, and I'm sad I have to quit before they all graduate out! :( Oh well, they're all excited for me to start nursing school :) Good luck with everything
