Straighterline Microbiology online course

Hello,

Has anyone completed microbiology with lab course through straigterline?

If so, please share the format of the course, such as assignments, exams, and any study tips.

Are they multiple-choices, true/false, fill in etc?

Microbio is my first course via SL. I have not started the course but gathering information and preparing for the course.

Hi! I have not taken a SL course but was VERY tempted to as getting a seat in micro was difficult due to my registration priority. However, I stuck it out and got in at my community college. I am posting because I just want you to be sure that the school(s) you are applying to will accept the credits. I later found out mine did not and was happy I stuck it out.

Did you ever finish your course through SL, how did you end up liking it? I have taken online courses before & done well but I am taking A&P through SL & struggling quite a bit, it's just a lot of information to grasp & sometimes I feel like the information jumps around, so I get confused & have to reread stuff a lot. I find the quizzes hard but the labs are doable & interesting.

Hello everyone, please has anyone done Microbiology labs with StraighterLine? I registered for Microbiology with labs, I got the first part done and submitted the transcript to my school, but I need to get the labs done asap but the microbiology kit is so expensive for me to afford. Am hoping someone who has done microbiology labs with StraighterLine could let me know the items in the kit that are required for the labs so that I can go the cheaper route by buying from the home science lab. The cost of the kit has kept me from getting my labs done. Please, I need help.
