StonyBrook/ Binghamton 2 Year BSN program Admission

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hi,

Has anyone already gotten admission for these schools for the fall of 2011? I'm actually applying for the Fall of 2012 but wanted to know, average gpa of acceptance, time of acceptance, and basically was it hard to get into? hows the program? I am transfering from a community college, and ended up with a 3.6 all together. I have 3 sciences done out of the 4 for sbu, and I plan on taking microbiology this spring. Can anyone tell me my chances of getting into either of these schools? which program is better? and I also had to retake biochemistry, I failed the first time around and, took it over ended up with an A- will this hurt me?

Call an admissions counselor. They'll be able to evaluate your transcripts and give you a good idea of if you'd be considered or not.

I've tried to call so many times, no one wants to pick up?

Are you calling the office for the Nursing division? That's who you want to talk to, so keep trying. For many nursing programs this is their busiest time of year because they're processing applications for summer, next fall, and fast track programs.

If you haven't been able to reach anyone by phone and email after a week, visit them in person and ask them to evaluate transcripts or set an appointment.

Okay, I'll try that. are you in either of these schools?

I really need to hear from people who have gotten into these schools!! please help

anyone plan on going to any of these schools in the fall of 2012?
