Is this a good way to study???

Okay... so I am taking 5 classes this semester. 2 require no studying (English we just have to write a few papers and Bio lab we just have to do the labs lol). One is College Algebra (and I know the only real way to study math is practice... and lots of it). The other two classes are giving me trouble. There is just so much info that I am unsure if my study methods will work. Here's my plan.

In both classes (Bio lecture and Social Problems) we take tons of notes in class and there is also a substantial amount of reading. Is it a good idea to make tons of flashcards based on the notes AND reading... and not just flashcards with definitions but also with questions? Or will that not be enough? Also from time to time I will quiz myself with random questions (including essays, etc.) to make sure I am prepared. Does this sound okay or is there something more I should do? I'm just so nervous that I will not get enough info to do well on tests! And there is just so much already... I can't even imagine trying to learn it all... even broken up into chunks.

Anyway, thanks in advance for the help and opinions. And to anyone else who is stressing as much as me right now... I will pray for you.

notecards are always good ways to MEMORIZE bits of info, but in nursing school you will need to learn to apply that info and critically think about it. I used notecards to memorize stuff quite well. If the questions are all general knowledge, you should do just fine doing that. Don't overdo it though, and to me, the reading is generally quite alot, so I tended in gen ed classes to read the topic headings and any definitions the teacher brought up in class. Good luck and try not to stress as much as you are.
