HESI A^2 Exam

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Sorry to sound so dumb, I've googled for this a few times, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. The university I'm applying to requires the HESI A^2 and they told me to print West Coast University's HESI Study Guide, but I cannot seem to find it online. If anyone could direct me to where it is, I would reallly appreciate it! :)

EDIT: NVM found it, but I guess it's not available online anymore :(

Hi. I found this website: www.westcoastuniversity.edu/u...StudyGuide.pdf on a post earlier today. Hope it helps. :nuke:

Hi again...I went back to check my post and when I clicked the website it was not what I initally saw. Anyway, what you will need to do is stay on this thread, but go to page 7. Scroll down and towards bottom of page there's a post that reads: HESI A2 Nursing Entrance Exam study helps online Free. It is dated May 26, 2009 by BrandiMR. If you open that and then use those links (there's two) she gives it takes you directly to the Hesi study guide. Whew!:yeah:

Hello, I'm here in Texas and I have to take the HESI A2 exam as well. I click on the site and the site didn't come up. Can someone advise me of a study guide site for here in Texas or is this site for nationwide? Please help...

You won't find a state-specific study guide since the HESI is a general entrance exam given all over the country.

It appears that the West Coast guide is no longer available online. I hear that the Evolve HESI prep book is about as good as it gets for the Math and English side of preparation (but not so great for the sciences). The ISBN for this book is: 1416056351. I've also heard that if you need to take any Science portion that reviewing your class notes or obtaining a comprehensive review book on the subject can be helpful. Also check with the office of the nursing program you are applying to. They sometimes have additional information that can help you direct your studies in the most efficient way possible.

Good Luck! :wink2:

Thank you for that information. I will try to find that book to start studying.

I was trying to find the West Coast guide as well but no luck assuming they took it down. I had found this guide online while searching google... http://dnn4.davenport.edu/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=TUgGWhd0ChQ%3D&tabid=366&mid=1184

I've read as well that the Kaplan book is decent for the reading section and over prepares you for the math section. A&P sounds like you'll have to study out of your old books/notes. Good luck to us both!
