    I am starting the LPN program this month and most of my tuition is being paid by WIA. However, they are not paying all of it. I was laid off which is how I qualified for the WIA and I need to see what grants or scholarships I can try to get to pay the balance.

    Most that I have saw, had to be applied for in January. Anyone know of any I can apply for now?

    have you filled out your FASFA? You may qualify for a pell grant depending on your financial situation

    Oh, sorry, I thought I put that in there. It's a private school, they don't accept any Federal Aid at this time.

    I too am looking for grants or scholarships to pay the balance of my LPN tuition. Can you share the info for the ones where you have to apply in January ? I start school next month.

    It was The Ohio Nursing Board. Check your state nursing board to see if they have one.
