Got my letter!!!!!!

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I went to the mailbox with hope again today, but knowing that it was way too early. Sure enough my letter was there! It's just for the top 110 people who made it to the interview round, but still, I'm so excited! After the interviews, they take 64, so more than half make it past this point.

Now, I need to call tomorrow to set up my interview and they start next Monday! I still need to finalize my interview questions and answers and find something nice to wear. I'm a wreck already, and I've got the whole weekend to worry.

Unfortunately, they said I would hear by April 1st. I would hate to wait an entire month just to NOT get in! But, I've done all I can do, right?

That's nuts about waiting for the letter! I've got an interview coming up in a couple of weeks. What kind of questions did they ask? Did they concentrate on anything in particular?

Most of them were pretty easy, straightforward. You're coworker shows up to work at 7:30 am smelling of liquor, what do you do?

You're going to lunch and patient #1 puts on their light to go to the bathroom. Patient #2, who is a fall risk, has their bed alarm go off. A nurse walks by you and asks you to get patient #3 a juice. What do you do?

You work part time while going to NS. You have a 4 hour shift, a paper due and a huge exam the next day? How do you prioritize?

Etc....... What is the nurses role? What makes a good nurse?

She seemed to really like most of my answers, so I hope I did well. Who knows?

Congratulations! Here's hoping you are selected :yeah:
