Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hello everyone, who has started A&P 2? I know we can all use support from each other. I for one have started class and my first day was yesterday. The syllabus doesn't look to bad. I just hope I will enjoy this more than A&P1. Organization is the key to our success and having a memory like an elephant wouldn't hurt either! Lol!!

I'm hanging in with an A! I have a lab quiz we'd & exam Friday!!! Praying I can hold that A boy I'm ready for this semester to be over!

Austincb me too!!

Hi everyone. I will be taking A&P P 2 next semester so do you guys have any tips that I can use?

This course is not that bad.. I don't even study hard and I am doing just OK.. I think I will end up with either a B or B+. If you study everyday, for 3-4 hours, you'll get that A. Watching videos on Youtube helps me a lot. Good luck!

Bleh, I'm doing bad! except for the lab practical, I usually get 50 out of 50. It is pretty easy. I got 70's for the first 2 exams which are considered the hardest. I am trying to get a 90+ for the next exam next week, but I haven't even started studying.. I will start later today!

I keep telling my self "5 more weeks to go...5 more weeks to go..." We're in the home stretch!!! Taking Exam 3 on Friday. Our last exam will be in December and we're done. Still have 2 more papers to write though...ugh! I am NOT liking all the paper writing in this class. I feel like it should count as a second Writing course!!!!

I hear ya and I agree!!

Yeah, no doubt! I took my 2nd exam yesterday and ... meh. We'll see. I didn't fail it, I didn't ace it, and I have no idea when I will know what my score is. Probably not tomorrow.

Fingers-crossed for you Pre-preShan!!!

Ha! It was tomorrow! I got an 80. *shrug* my professor offers extra points quizzes right before each test, and so far I think I have 12 or 13 extra points, but I'm not sure how they are going to be applied to my grade.

In other news, I got my acceptance letter from the SON! I was relieved, but I realize now it really starts to get difficult.

The key is having a good teacher I think. My teacher for A&PII is excellent and so far I'm averaging a 96 and we've had 3 tests, 4th will be next Tuesday. My teacher for A&P1 taught straight out of the book, no power point slides, and you had to read ALL of the chapters she taught from to find what you needed to know. Also, sometimes she put two correct answers for a question on a test and one would count as 'wrong' because it was not the most correct, but was still right. I know there are questions like that in nursing school but this was A&P1 for crying out loud! Lol
