Edison State College Fall 2009 Acceptance Letters

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Has any one received a letter, email, phone call of acceptance from Edison yet? I was told by one of the faculty members that all of the campus nursing instructors and deans meet soon after the deadline and those that are accepted will get a phone call very soon after. I realize that we had the July 4th holiday and they probably didn't meet that first week, however today is the 14th and no one has posted anything about being accepted. Is any one else as anxious as me?

I received a phone call this afternoon inviting me to the fall evening program. Good Luck!! :yeah:

Congraulations!

Thanks so much! After 18 months of pre-req's I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Can't wait to start!

knina, did you hear anything yet? :0( I haven't....I also heard that someone else didnt and she called and found out she was in. I hate the waiting either way..put me out of my misery!

I received a call July 14th offering me a seat in the Fall evening program, no letter yet though. Can't wait to start! Wish I had a little break from school though. Started last August full-time, and did A&P 2 Summer A and Micro now, final is 8/10, classes start again 8/24...

Congrats on your acceptance! I am just really antsy to know..Im sure I would have gotten a phone call if accepted but Im holding on to any hope!

Yeah, I would do the same, why not call them and see? Wouldn't that save u from the anxiousness?

I called this morning and it goes to voicemail. I left one but no phonecall back yet! I want this so bad! I may not be a straigh A student but I have ambition!

Remain positive, I'm sure you'll know something soon...

Thank you! Im going to try to call a different number this time. Ill let you know how it goes...and congrats again!! May I ask you what your Hesi scores were and your GPA? You dont have to answer if its too personal!

I got a 92 on the HESI and I have a 4.0 GPA. I had 7 classes completed, so I had 97 pts going in. As of now, I don't know anyone who's gotten in with pts. lower than 90, but I only know of 3 others, so that's not a good way to base getting in. When I spoke with the evening nursing coordinator, he said that someone w/pts. over 90 was guaranteed to pretty much get in to whatever they tried to. But, they require over 80 pts.
