Edison State College Fall 2009 Acceptance Letters

Has any one received a letter, email, phone call of acceptance from Edison yet? I was told by one of the faculty members that all of the campus nursing instructors and deans meet soon after the deadline and those that are accepted will get a phone call very soon after. I realize that we had the July 4th holiday and they probably didn't meet that first week, however today is the 14th and no one has posted anything about being accepted. Is any one else as anxious as me?

I actually have no clue what my points would be but Im thinking my chances are slim next to none given you and your friends scores on everything! My GPA is a 3.02 and I still have to take A&P 2 and Micro...and my HESI score was a 76. That seems to be the average for mine and the 2 other people I know who havent heard anything yet.

Good luck! Don't give up hope! I know the wait is a killer, but stay positive. Some people receive phone calls and some receive letters.

The part of the scores that gives you the most points is the HESI. I'm not sure what your total score would have been. Did you apply to all campus programs?

Anyone know when we hear more concrete info as to orientation or anything?

Yes i applied to them all. Hoping I messed up my phone number on the application and thats why I havent recieved anything. lol. What do all of you do for a living now before nursing school?

I am a wife and mother of 2. I work on the weekends as an on call coordinator for a healthcare staffing agency from Friday @ 5p-Monday @ 9a, 24/7. I model here and there. And goto school.

I am also a wife and mother of two :0) My kids are 2 and 5 months old. I work at Healthpark in Labor and Delivery night shift. I usually work every fri, sat and sun night from 7p-7a. Nice to meet you!
