CSN RN Spring 2015

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hey to all who reads! I am a Spring 2015 class hopeful and curious to see who else out there is as well. I also had a few questions...

1. Has anyone taken or is going to take science classes at NSC over the summer and what was their experience?

2. Is the 2.50 cumulative GPA just for all program prerequisites or for all classes you haven taken at CSN that are not classes for the RN program?

3. Does the U.S. & Nevada Constitutions need to be taken before you apply to the program or can it be taken during the waiting period? I know I will probably need it for the point, but I would rather not overload myself.

4. What is the best study guide to purchase for the TEAS exam?

5. How do you find out what jobs qualify for the point under "Health Care Work Experience"?

Thank you so much for the help!

Why don't you ask CSN about the course requirements for the Nursing Program. I am sure they will give you the correct information. Health care work experience could mean anything from CNA, PCT, or other related work.

I am a recent CSN RN grad. The 2.5 is for the pre req classes only. The program webpage tells you everything you need to know. Use ATIs study guide for the TEAS test. The polisci class is not required before applying but you have a better chance of getting in right away plus it's a huge pain in the butt trying to do it during the actual program.

I just emailed them a few days ago and they gave me all my answers to my questions. Thank you for the reply.

Can you check the school site?

Also, I would post in on the board of the state the college is in, maybe you can reach alumni!
