Concordia College - NY

Does anyone know anything about the program at Concordia College in New York (not Irvine, Calif.): http://www.concordia-ny.edu/academics/nursing/?

From the web site it seems they've just begun their program this year and are seeking CCNE accreditation.

Hi, I have just mailed out my application yesterday. Admission Advisors are realy helpful. This is a 15 months second Bachelors program. I am sure this program is pretty intense. I live in Texas but if I get accepted, I will definitely move to New York. Currently, I am attending Houston Baptist University and still waiting to get accepted. Only thing in HBU is a long wait. I am just tired of waiting and waiting.. Also, Concordia curriculum is very much tempting to me...

Hi Blue River. Thanks for your post. I met with Admissions at Concordia today. You're right - the advisor I met with was very helpful and encouraging. I'm really impressed with their program. They're only in their first year and are seeking CCNE accreditation and it looks like they're set to get it. Good luck to you! You sent out your application for next year (fall 2010)?

I am glad that you had a chance to speak to them. I think Fall 2010 is the one they are accepting application for. Yes, if I get accepted I would definitely relocate. Just got the confirmation from Advisor that they have received my application. Believe me, I am looking forward to it. I am tired of waiting and waiting at the institution I am attending right now. They are keep having me taking classes that are not even transferable anywhere. This is totally crazy. This program sounds pretty reasonable and very straight forward. Good luck to you too.
