Chem was a cakewalk until....

Holy cow. We have two finals for chem (1 for lab and 1 for lecture). Going into the first exam I had an A. All the tests were basically easy and not too much for work through the semester.

Then came the lab final...

We had to come up with our own plans of 5 tests to figure out two unknowns (mine were a white solid with little crystals and a clear liquid) but we could only actually conduct one test. I came up with some good tests for the liquid, but was totally stumped on the solid. I thought I was going to do pretty good when I chose the flame test but I got nothing! I was so bummed! I even asked the prof if I could choose a different test. This exam really made my brain mush. Here's to the end of the semester

Sounds rough! I had chem this semester too.Our lab exam was fairly easy though. Sorry it was so rough. Hope in the end your grade doesn't suffer too much from this one difficult exam. I'm just glad chem is over and I can put it behind me now, bet you are too. Happy Holidays!

Its okay. Its only one course. I struggled in chem lab too. I think I made out with a B in chem lab luckily its only a 1-credit course so I'm not moping over it =D.
