OMG- when I say bombed, I MEAN it.. seriously... thank GOD he replaces the lowest grade with your final because I'd be in serious trouble. (I got a B on the first lecture exam- hoping that would be my drop score but not anymore!!)

The thing that erks me is I studied the things he said to focus on and I swear he had pinned everything else. Not only that, I spent most of my time looking at pictures and video, but the cats in the class were cut so differently that it was hard to tell with muscles that are close together. Especially the deltoids and legs/thighs.. Grrrr...

I know now for the next test I have to really study the cats hands on and not count on pics and videos... but the arteries/veins/cavities/organs have got to be better than this one. Luckily, I studied all these in a fetal pig a couple semesters ago so it shouldn't be too different. BUT DAMN does it sting how bad I did on this exam.

Sorryyou didnt do as well on your exam as you hoped, but like you said least, he drops that grade! Lol! Im a little anxious about my lab quiz that I took yesterday because we had to now all of these bones and I hope I got the spelling right because its marked wrong if you dont spell the bones right. LOL! I hope some day we all look back at these times and laugh and say," it was hard, but I made it through it all!" LOL!

With the cat there is no replacing lab time going over the actual cat again and again and again. My professor was great about opening lab for us for extra time so we really had the opportunity to do well on the cat. Got a 100 and have to give him at least part of the credit. You can do this.:nurse:

Thanks y'all! I realize now that you HAVE to work on the cat hands on.. not only that, but I'm going to bug all my classmates to peek at their cats too so I see different cats and how things may look on their cats (since he uses all our cats on the exams)... Lesson learned! I'll be getting to know my poor dead kitty a lot better over the next few weeks! I'm probably going to bring her home too.. which I was avoiding because I didn't want to traumatize my kids and cat and am a little afraid my German Shepherd might eat it.. I'll have to figure something out! lol

Oh, for sure check out the other cats. My prof pushed us to do that and he was sooo right. Some things look very different on another cat.

I'm sure you will do better on the next test.
