Hey aprilkimberly, I'm trying to apply to ASU for next fall and I just wanted to know what your GPA was if you don't mind as well as what your ranking score was. Just wanted to compare my chances of getting in. Thanks a lot.

Hey there! I applied twice to ASU's program. I got denided the first time, but got accepted the second. I realized the second time that It really all depends on who you are applying with.

When I applied for the Spring 2008 semserter I had a 3.68 GPA and got in the .80's on Math & Reading, yet they gave me a .66 on my essay. My ranking score ended up being about a 5.98 - The Cuttoff score for this particular application period was 6.13 (really high from what I had heard from previous applicants).

BUT, the second time I applied, I retook the NET and got better scores on all the sections, and they gave me a .91 on the essay section this time. I also took a class over the winter to raise my GPA. I ended up with a selected GPA of 3.74 - My raking score for the Fall 2008 application period ended up being 6.33 - the cuttoff score was around 5.9 (way lower than the previous semster).
