    Because of being stationed in Guam I am taking online courses. I have taken two anatomy classes online but my advisor said some colleges might not accept it for pre-reqs because of the online lab. Anyone have any experience with this?

    My school did not offer any lab science online therefore they did not accept anyone to their nursing program that had online labs. I would contact the nursing admissions office (NOT the general admission office) at the school(s) that you are interested in applying to an see what their requirements are. Although I understand your situation with being overseas, I really think an in-person lab will really benefit you. Whether it be anatomy, physiology or microbiology... They are all really helpful for your future.

    Every school I talked to said they would not accept online science courses with a lab component. Yes, your class includes a lab but schools don't consider those labs equivalent to the ones at a brick & mortar college.
