Anybody ever take A&P 1&2 TOGETHER?

I looked in the course descriptions section of the school and there was nothing that said A&P 1 is required before A&P 2. I don't work, so I won't have to deal with a work schedule, and have my days free to study.

Thoughts and opinions PLEASE???

If you could do it, go for it. When I took pre reqs, I could not take A&P 1 and 2 together. We had to pass A&P 1 before we could sign for the second one.

I'm planning to take Anatomy, Physiology, Chemistry II, & Nutrition this spring 07. Does anyone think it's overkill? I don't have any foundation in biology, so all of these subjects will be relatively new. I need honest opinions, because I will be dropping Physiology, maybe. I plan on taking micro during the summer, has anyone taking micro & physiology during the summer? Thanks! allnurses rocks!!!:yeah:

I think it seems as though it is a prereq but it probably is not. My school makes it seem like you need to take 1 before 2 but I have spoken to a few people at my CC that have actually taken 1 & 2 at the same time. A couple of them did it over the summer semester so it had to be more intense but obviously doable. I personally am someone that is not naturally smart and have to put 110% effort into something like that to get a good grade so for someone who needs the effort like myself I probably wouldn't suggest it...however I took Micro and A&P I at the same time and did well when everyone (including professors and advisors) thought that that was nuts. I think it all depends how committed you can be to it and if you have that down then you should do fine.

A&P I is a pre-req for A&P II at my CC however over the summer I will be taking A&P I and Micro together then in the fall finish it up with A&P II and Patho and another co-req that's acclerated. I know its not gonna be easy and I actually look forward to the challenge. Just stay determined and anything is possible.

Goodluck to you all.:balloons:

We couldn't take them together because we had to have I before II.
