Anatomy, and getting into a program

So at the beginning of the semester I went in taking Eng 102, Statistics, and Anatomy & physiology 1. Statistics was a hybrid class, that I couldn't do along side with Anatomy. English I fell behind, because I was too focused on Anatomy. I dropped both classes. Now I am only taking Anatomy, and the midterm just passed. I don't think I did too stellar on it either. I know the basic concepts, but it's the technical details like what type of junction is formed between this and that. Or what kind of cells are found lining the intestines.

Is it still possible to get an A, or even a B+? My lecture counts as 60% of the grade, and my lab is 40%. The first practical or exam we did in lab, I failed. We're going over bones now, which I'm more on board with. If I stay focused and maintain 90+ on the rest of the exams, can I still receive an A?

Getting an A in your anatomy class is going to depend on what your score was on the first exam that you took, how many exams that you have for this class, any quizzes or other assignments. Also are the exams weighted or straight points. The best person who is going to be able to help you figure out if you will be able to achieve an A and also what you will need to do to achieve that grade is going to be your instructor. Good luck

Unfortunately, I do not believe this is a question that can be answered by us here. Communicate with your professor and find out where you stand and what you would need to do in order to achieve a grade still within your reach. I hope an A is still possible for you, good luck!

you're right. i was just venting a little from stress. thanks though for the encouragement.

Sorry you are going to have to refer to your syllabus. At the beginning of every semester for every class next to the grading criteria I would write down what I needed to get an A for every test, quiz, and assignment. After I received any major assignment or test back I would recalculate my current standing to see where I was at. Your syllabus plus some math should let you know what's achievable.
