    I interviewed on Oct. 4 which doesn't sound like that long ago, but it feels like a LONG wait already. They contacted me after the interview for my transcripts! Transcripts are usually a big part of the application, so I don't know if that is a good sign or a bad one haha. My former schools had already sent them and I guess there was a delay in the graduate school on their end. (I applied in June so I don't know what the hold up was)
    I will keep in touch, I just really want it to be January so all of this stuff is out of the way. Also, not working for two years won't be that bad---like a long vacation with studying.
    It's after we graduate and end up with all the loan repayments that's going to suck, all worth it though to finally have the best job ever.

    Ha ha I understand ! I just interviewed last week so I am not stressing yet ! I am also very confused about how they pick their candidates for interviewing. They offered to interview me without gre scores or my last letter of recommendation in. I guess they go by the little get to know you form you send in extra. It almost makes me feel like I am not as strong an applicant as I thought I was if they didn't have all that stuff to choose me...maybe the threshold for interviewing people is Lower than I thought !

    I totally understand about the best job ever !!! Keep thinking of joining the military for loan repayment as it looks like most new grad jobs are not offering bonuses anymore.

    This will be the first time I ever have the opportunity to go to School without working !!! It sounds awesome to have time to devote to it !

    Money wise I am freaking out as all the private loans for grad school have dried up over the years....and I am the sole provider for my family of 5! Looking at withdrawing from retirement , it's 15% interest but at least it's money ! Hoping my mother in law will cosign a private loan for us... I know working isn't an option , but I also see working like a dog during the few holiday breaks that we get. Its gonna b hard for a few years. My kids are already asking when we can go to Hawaii again. They really want to go to Disney world but I put that on hold to save money. every dollar counts right now !

    But I see their is an aana meeting in Orlando I would love to go to in December !!

    Now you guys have me worried bc they didn't schedule my interview until they had my gre scores. Of course, I think they do the interviews for the Roanoke campus last anyway. I shadowed again the other day and it was so much fun! I really hope they like me.

    There was a wide variety if people there when I interviewed so don't worry. They ask you right there which campus you want to go to so I think they do it all together. Last week of Oct ! Only a few more weeks till we find out !

    I am shadowing again on Halloween !!

    Whew...glad that is over with. I'm so impressed with vcu's program. My interview was with people applying to the Roanoke and Abbington campus. Everyone was very nice. They said they have interviews again today for the distance sites and then they are meeting next week to start making some decisions. Good luck everyone

    Thanks for the update ! Glad it went great for u. Its good to know they will start making some decisions next week , I was wondering if anyone had heard anything yet !

    this may be the week we hear something! I am still not yet nervous, maybe if I don't get a call then I will be nervous next week...

    They told my interview group they will not notify until at least the first week in December, so I wouldn't stalker call yet!
