  1. Congrats future classmate! I did decide on UB and I'm very excited that I won't have to move. Are you from buffalo or will you be relocating soon? Congrats again and I look forward to meeting you!
  2. I am taking this course as well, I was wondering where the review sheet for the final is posted. I read somewhere that you should reference the review sheet as you are going through the chapters, but I couldn't find the sheet anywhere on blackboard. Just curious if you knew where to track it down; if not, I can always email the Prof. Thanks
  3. Yeah I wasn't expecting to hear back the day after my interview but I did, which is great because I hate waiting. I know that last year people had to wait until feb bc of the DNP program starting up. Super psyched! Are you also looking at UB?
  4. I contacted them and they said they would be making decisions this past week, I still have not received a phone call. But today I did get acceptance from UB, which is really close to where I live....tempting...
  5. Thanks again statABG andRealNurse for your advice. I called them today and they said that they had my file right in front of them and asked if I could interview Nov 6... So next Tuesday is my interview date, I don't know when they were planning on letting me know but thank goodness I got one. Now all I need to do now is pretend to be super confident for ~25mins :)
  6. Is anyone else interviewing at UB soon, or has anyone recently interviewed and can share their experience. I have heard that in the past they are very difficult and ask questions until you no longer know the answers. I have also heard that there is a great deal of clinical content in the interview. Any information or advice would be great. My interview is in a couple if weeks. Thanks in advance for the help.-K
  7. I called today. He said to call another lady tomorrow to set up an interview time and that he didn't know why I hadn't been called yet. Thanks for giving me the green light to call, I'm happy I did.Realnurse- are you accepted for Aug 2013? If so, CONGRATs! Is Case your first choice?
  8. I got a letter in the mail in Aug saying that they were going to set up an interview and I still haven't heard from them. Do you think it's too forward to call and ask about the status of my application? I'm getting antsy. Congrats to those who have interviewed already! Hopefully I will get a call/email tomorrow so I can stop stressing myself out.
  9. MissNurse01- I interviewed on Oct. 4 which doesn't sound like that long ago, but it feels like a LONG wait already. They contacted me after the interview for my transcripts! Transcripts are usually a big part of the application, so I don't know if that is a good sign or a bad one haha. My former schools had already sent them and I guess there was a delay in the graduate school on their end. (I applied in June so I don't know what the hold up was) I will keep in touch, I just really want it to be January so all of this stuff is out of the way. Also, not working for two years won't be that bad---like a long vacation with studying. It's after we graduate and end up with all the loan repayments that's going to suck, all worth it though to finally have the best job ever. -K
  10. Has anyone heard back from VCU yet? I'm sure that they are still conducting interviews and I know they said the end of November, but this wait is brutal! I was just wondering if people got offered the "you are so awesome, we called you the next day" spots.
