- 0Oct 28, '13 by scarykarrey, BSN, RNThey bumped all of the specialties up to the DNP level. Or rather, they're going to, once they get final approval from the college. I applied to an MSN specialty for Fall 2014 entry, and they had me fill out a form indicating a preference for a DNP specialty or the MSN Generalist program, pending policy change.
I don't blame them for holding off on updating their website about it, since I'm guessing there's a possibility that it won't be approved by UIC.
- 0Nov 4, '13 by has31I also find it quite annoying they not have updated their website! I called back in early September and was told it may be January before the website is updated. I really liked Depaul's generalist program but it's so expensive! I am anxious to see what UIC's program has transitioned to so I know which programs I will be applying to.
