Register Today!- Dec 6, '09 by manudelrosarioHi miaka_tamahome! It is nice to hear that you are interested to pursue your MAN degree at Trinity University of Asia. I am on my way to complete my 24 units this sem. Try to call TUA ( try to search their contact details thru the web). We only started 2 weeks ago for the second semester term. However, I am not sure if they are still accepting applicants up to this time. Classes are being conducted on a weekend basis however, there are also subjects being offered during weekdays, 6 pm to 9 pm. Alongside with my MAN program, I am also taking up Professional Teaching Program at UP-Open University while still awaiting for the hospitals to hire new nurses. Welcome aboard

Can you give more details or information about the Professional Teaching Program of UPOU? Im also interested in UP's Diploma in Health Professions Education. Ive emailed them but i have not yet receive any reply from them. Im thinking if this is also the program you're enrolled with. hope to hear from you - Dec 8, '09 by manudelrosarioHi Nurseharbee:spin: thanks for your inquiry. Alongside with my MAN program at Trinity, I decided to take up Professional Teaching Program ( Education Units) at UPOU. It is a 1 year program of study done through distance learning. After you pass the program, you are will be eligible to take the Licensure exam for Teachers. I decided to take this course due to the reason that it is really my passion to share knowledge
Aside from this reason, there might be a possibility that all teachers( including COLLEGE PROFESSORS) might be ask to have a license to teach and that is thru LET. Personally, I am gaining more knowledge by having this program. I think the Health Profession's Education is different from what I am taking up. To make it short, try to visit www.upou.edu.ph and inquire to them.
Please take note that they are very strict with the deadlines for enrollment. Try to also call them personally and inquire about the program you are interested to enter into. The registrars are very accommodating

@bettyboop09: I am not takign my MAN program at UPOU. I am taking up there Professional Teaching program ( Education Units) for me to become eligible to take the licensure exam for teachers - Dec 8, '09 by nurseharbeegoing back to the question, I think MAN/MSN in UERM is good. What do you think?
- Dec 8, '09 by optimistic,RNWhich is much better St.Paul Univeristy, UERM or TUA when it comes to quality of education and the affordability of their tuition fee's? I need your advice my dear colleagues.thank you.
- Dec 9, '09 by manudelrosarioHi narscathy
All I can share is about TUA. Their accreditation level is III. Tuition fee is around 900+ per unit. All in all, per semester fee for a 12 unit course is around Php 17, 000+ ( i am not sure with the exact figure). For a 12 unit load, it will cost you around Php 14, 000+. Quality of education I may say will depend both on the professor and the student.

I tried to inquire in TUA last May but was'nt able to continue. By that time the Dean of Nursing wasn't there so I never came back for an interview. By the way how was the entrance exam and the interview by your dean?
- Dec 11, '09 by manudelrosario@ narscathy: It was really great since I will be having my very first interview with the Dean of the Graduate School. Upon seeing my credentials, he just said " welcome to TRINITY"
Then they scheduled me for the entrance exam. I think the entrance exam will focus on English proficiency, IQ Test, numerical exams and an essay type of exam at the latter part. Just try inquiring again. However not for this semester but on the summer term
