2013 CCP Nursing Program

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Hello Everyone,

Wanted to get this started for those who have applied to the program this year and want to get to know other applicants. I was accepted into the CCP nursing program for the 2012 fall semester start date. I attended until 6 weeks before the semester ended. Sadly I had to medically withdraw from the program so in order to continue I had to reapply and start over again. I am hoping to get back in this year. I look forward to talking to other people who have applied and get accepted.

I took AHT March 1 and am anxiously waiting....I think we will all know this month...fingers and toes crossed.

I'm so nervous about not getting into this nursing program. What's the latest date that I can receive an acceptance letter? I know the last date for students to take the AHT was March 3rd, so taking that into consideration I guess letters will be sent out until the end of March. Please let me know if you're still waiting as well.....

Nursing4Fashion,

Last year people heard as late as the first week of April.

Just wanted to say good luck to all of you who have been accepted to CCP. I decided to go to Roxborough's program this fall. Best of luck gang.

I took my aht two weeks ago got my score, got an 18 i have a 3.7 gpa as well. Buy i do have a d in a psych class i retool it but i believe it still counts. Is anyone else anxious about their letter? I just want ot to come! Lmao and goodluck everyone

Alright, those @#$%^& letters can be sent out already. (tap tap tap taps impatiently)

Every time myccp is slow to load, I get excited thinking that my profile is going to change. And every time (so far!) I'm still a CST student. It's funny how being a *science* student was so cool to me, until I was waiting for it to change . . .

I can't believe it is taking so long for some of us to get our letters..whether it be accepted or not. Myself and two of my friends all sent in our applications in the 2nd week of Nov. My friends sat for the AHT the first week of January. I took mine last year so my score was still good. None of us have heard anything yet. I assumed at least I would have heard since I was accepted last year and my name was put on the list as a readmit student. Usually that take special consideration to those that had special withdraw circumstances. I was an A student in the program. It wasn't my fault my doctor refused to sign off on me coming back to clinical's for at least 6 weeks after I had my son. I applied around the same time last year and received my letter the 2nd week of February. This is pretty bizarre.

I am still waiting as well and i took my AHT in January, I haven't received a denial letter yet so i guess that's some good news.

The waiting is totally killing me!!!!!!!!!! I took the AHT March 1 so I haven't been waiting that long but it's still very annoying! I hope we all hear soon and that it's good news. I have no choice but to get in to this program. It's the only one that I can afford to leave my full time job and attend....and I HATE my full time job, so that's some motivation, right there.

Fingers crossed everyone!!!!!!

My status just changed, so go check yours, my rn peeps!!

Enrollment profiles changing rapidly today on My CCP for my friends who took the AHT on Jan. 30. I went to get my AHT score and I got 3 pts!! So, now I have 9!!! AAHH...Thank you, God! My profile still hasn't changed but I just took the AHT 2 weeks ago so now that I know I have 9 pts I'm not stressing over it anymore!! Congrats to everyone who got in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really nervous and confused about the "first come first serve" thing. The info booklet states that 9's, 8's, and 7's will be "offered admission in descending order as space allows." I assumed that they would wait until the application deadline and then offer spots to 9's, and then 8's, etc. I didn't know they would start allowing 7's while there were still applicants waiting to take the AHT, and now I am worried! I have 8 points and took my AHT on 2/26, which is pretty late. Has anyone else in my situation heard anything? I'm way too anxious to wait!

I'm just upset because had I known it was first come first serve, I would've tried to get my high school transcripts sooner. I am several hours away from my high school so driving to pick them up wasn't really an option.

I wouldn't worry too much about it and if you don't get in, I would appeal the decision given your 8 and what the booklet states. I have 9, I took the AHT March 1. I'm not stressing about it and I'm not 100% convinced that letters went out to 7's.
