Hello Everyone,
Wanted to get this started for those who have applied to the program this year and want to get to know other applicants. I was accepted into the CCP nursing program for the 2012 fall semester start date. I attended until 6 weeks before the semester ended. Sadly I had to medically withdraw from the program so in order to continue I had to reapply and start over again. I am hoping to get back in this year. I look forward to talking to other people who have applied and get accepted.
Thank you! That makes me feel a little better. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I would say "good luck" but with 9 points, I am not sure you need it! Congrats :)
Yeah, they said at the orientation that 8s & 9s got it, and that 7s were probable -- and then she pointed out that they accepted some 6s last year. I'd say you're golden.

Thank you! I noticed that your enrollment profile changed to nursing - if you don't mind me asking, how long did it take after you took your AHT test?
I feel confident but now I am just curious!
edited to add: Great job!

She took AHT on January 30...I know because we are friends. LOL. My other friends who took it on that day also had their profiles change today. I'm hoping ours will change next week as they move down the line. She had a 9.
For those of you who's enrollment profile has not changed and have yet to get a letter don't be discouraged. Last year I received my acceptance letter and my enrollment never changed. I actually had to call CCP and have them change it because it wouldn't allow me to register for my nursing course until it was changed. CCP is bizarre in how they operate. Some people's change before they receive there letter, others don't. Its nice when it does change so that you know how you did, but don't get too upset if it hasn't yet. My enrollment still shows as a nursing student from last fall, they never changed mine back to CST after I withdrew..lol You have until April to find out and if it makes you feel any better, I know of two people that got in and have decided to go elsewhere. I also am going somewhere else and I'm almost positive I will be receiving an acceptance letter since I was already in the program. So 3 slots will open up. Its probably taking awhile because they are waiting to hear back from students they already accepted. You have to send in a deposit to hold your spot so if they sent out 100 acceptances and only 80 responded back so far, they are probably waiting to hear back from the other twenty before they send out more letters since only roughly 135 get in.
No but I did email the head of the department of nursing and she wrote back, right away and said that they are still reviewing profiles as they come up from the admissions dept. Only some letters have been sent out and if I have 9 then that is "good news".
I think we will hear in the next few weeks. I'm pretty confident that we will both get in since our scores are high enough but it's still so hard to wait!!
I'll let you know as soon as I hear.
