Legacy Versant RN Residency - who's applying for this round?

U.S.A. Oregon

This is my third time applying, so here's hoping the third time is the charm. I graduated last June and will be finishing up my BSN at OHSU in June (with a 4.0!) and will have 9 months of home health experience with medically fragile children, so I'm hoping to have some chance this time around. If not, it's great interview experience, right?

Good luck. I started orientation for a new grad program in SD yesterday. Really wanted to go back home. At least ill still be working.

Thanks. Congrats and good luck to you as well. Look on the bright side, you got a job, and you'll be able to go anywhere after a few years.

I got called today for post-surgical specialties at Good Sam. I know two of my other classmates are interviewing for the same unit. I also heard from a classmate who got called for oncology at Good Sam. I haven't heard of anyone getting any calls from Emanuel, Randall, or any other facility.

Congratulations! I bet you are so happy! Just when I think all hope is lost. Thanks for all the specifics.

Yeah I have not heard back from the ED yet, Doubt I will ):, but I got get a new grad RN residency at Kaiser Permanente, that I started a few weeks ago.

Where do u find the kaiser residency postings at?

it was for internal candidates only....sorry ):

did anyone receive, or heard from someone that received an official job offer?

I have not heard anything back, or heard of anybody else hearing back.

So the word is, there's an info session on tuesday for those that have received job offers. My bet, if you haven't received an offer by now, it's time to start looking at other options. :\

Legacy did some calling today. Out of my BSN program 6 folks have been offered residency positions in this round of Versant. It's tru that they have scheduled an info session for new hires on Tuesday.

A little bird told me that Kaiser is going to have a residency program for their Hillsboro/Westside location and they might just be accepting applications NOW....

Where will people be working?? And wow, 6 out of your class. What school?

Specializes in maybe L&D or NICU.

I got my rejection email. Knew it was coming but still a bit sad to see it. At least I still have my LPN job which I may be able to take the RN position as soon as the new hire is trained. Congratulations to any who made it!
