Scrub hat pattern?

Specialties Operating Room

I hate the paper things we have at work :wink2:

I'm looking for a good pattern to make a bouffant style hat that ties. Elastic and I don't get along. Band or no band - either is fine.

Any suggestions on where I can get my hands on such an animal?

greenscrubs.com has nice tie back ones that are deeper then the mens style.

This is an AWESOME site for Scrub Caps! I ordered some, they have great variety, fit well, and are very comfortable even after a Loooong 12 hour shift!

Thanks for the name of this company! I ordered some of these, and they're nice. I like the tie in the back, so even if the elastic starts to give out, you can snug it up in the back.

does anyone have a pattern or know where i can get one i went to my fabric store and they thought i was crazy

I ordered scrub caps from Sparking Earth after reading about them on this site (it might have even been a post by Snowshooz, I'm not sure) and I absolutely love them! In fact, I just placed my third order with them.

Nursenoggins.com is a great site. They even make custom orders if you have fabric that you love.

Hovihats.com is where I buy all of mine. She has a great variety.

you need to "thumb" thru the pattern book......if it isnt under "scrubs" try "costumes"

good luck
